Wallaby Tracks across My Country: -
”The dotted lines show the tracks of the Wallaby crossing ‘My Country’, it stops at the waterholes to drink and eat fruit, as it lays its tail down it leaves a line in the dirt, which are the straight lines. We can tell from the dung it leaves behind how long ago it was there, the dung is represented as kidney bean shapes around the waterhole”
The Wallaby is Pacinta's totem Dreaming. Her paintings tell the story of wallaby's travelling at night, grazing and looking for water across the north-central desert. This area is her mother Caroline Numina country.
Pacinta’s paintings are shown in galleries in Queensland and in Sydney. As a truly young emerging artist, Pacinta was offered a solo exhibition and tour interstate whilst still at school. Although young, her paintings have been purchased by astute collectors and investors in Australia and overseas and her works are shown in galleries in the Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales. She is becoming a respected cultural representative from telling the stories of her relatives Dreamings through her artwork
