The painting depicts the dingo tracks as the dingo's sniff for water and follow their old tracks and hunting places around the scarce waterholes.
The story of Dingo Tracks that Lanita paints is her mother's Country and Dreaming totems.
Lanita was born in 1979 and attended school in Kormilda College in Darwin. Lanita is one of six sisters and two brothers. He mother, also an artist, is Barbara Price from Stirling Station near Tennant Creek.
Lanita has been painting for galleries across the country for over eight years. Her work has been purchased by art lovers and collectors and she has had works as a collaborative exhibition in Cairns in 2010.
Lanita paints many stories from her family and is also a strong teacher to her nephews and nieces of the next genera
