Wallaby Tracks My Country Dreaming:-
”The dotted lines show the tracks of the Wallaby crossing ‘My Country’, it stops at the waterholes to drink and eat fruit, as it lays its tail down it leaves a line in the dirt, which are the straight lines. We can tell from the dung it leaves behind how long ago it was there, the dung is represented as kidney bean shapes around the waterhole”
The Wallaby is Sharon's totem Dreaming. Her paintings tell the story of wallaby's travelling at night, grazing and looking for water across the north-central desert. This area is her mother's, Caroline Numina country.
